What does ‘Still’ mean?

AdverbUp to now, or up to a point in time. To describe the state of something that we are expecting to happen soon, but has not happened. Example. Your brother is still in bed. He still hasn't come downstairs.
AdverbNonetheless. Example. He is very rude, still he is good at his job.
Adjective, verb. Motionless, not moving, resting. Example. Please stand still while I take your photograph. It was a still night
Noun, verb. A piece of machinery for the distilling of alcohol. Example. In Ireland poteen is produced from illegal stills.
