Modal verbs are very important in English. The modal verbs are different from auxiliary verbs because they modify the meaning of the verb instead of defining a tense. The modal verbs are can, could, must, should, ought to, may, might, shall, will, would, need and dare.

This series will deal with how to form phrases with modal verbs and when and how to use them.
